Odoo POS with fiscal printer and card terminal, via FisCool

NextERP is an authorised reseller of FisCool, the universal fiscal driver for Romanian fiscal printers and payment terminals. We implement Odoo POS connected directly to the fiscal printer and the bank card terminal. The cashier takes the payment once, in Odoo, and both the fiscal receipt and the card payment go out automatically, with no amount typed again on the register or the terminal.

What a sale looks like

  1. The cashier rings up the sale in Odoo POS: scans the products, applies discounts and picks the payment method (cash, card, meal tickets, voucher).
  2. The card payment reaches the terminal on its own. The amount shows up directly on the bank terminal and the customer taps the card or enters the PIN. The cashier types nothing on the terminal.
  3. The fiscal receipt prints once the payment is confirmed, with the same products, prices and VAT rates as in Odoo. If the bank declines the payment, no receipt is issued and the cashier sees the reason on screen.
  4. Odoo closes the sale: it updates stock, records the payment in the cash session and keeps the fiscal receipt number on the order.

Mixed payments (part cash, part card) go on the same receipt.

What the cashier does without leaving Odoo

  • Fiscal receipt on every sale, plus a fiscal invoice with the buyer's VAT number when the customer asks for one.
  • X report at any time of day and Z report at closing, together with the daily settlement of the card terminal.
  • Cash in and cash out of the register.
  • Opening the cash drawer after every payment, if you want it.
  • Non-fiscal receipt to check the link with the fiscal printer before the shop opens.

Compatible equipment

FisCool works with Datecs, Daisy, Tremol and Beko fiscal printers and with BCR, Banca Transilvania and CEC Bank card terminals, plus other banks through Beko or Datecs terminals. The driver runs on Windows, macOS or Android, on the computer or tablet next to the register, and Odoo talks to it over the local network.
